You can either grow peppermint plants in your garden, sprinkle dried peppermint around the doors and entry ways, or add 10 drops of essential peppermint oil to 1 cup water and spray where the ants are present.

  1. Spray a bleach solution

Although it’s important to spray the nest with a water and bleach solution, you also want to spray the trail to ensure that you kill the whole colony. If not, you may end up with another ant colony popping up elsewhere.
